Coeur d’Alene’s Best Pizza

Our dough is made in-house with locally sourced un-bleached artisan flour and a 34 year old sour dough starter and fermented for 48 hours. The starter for this sourdough is from a vineyard in our home town, hence our “Roots”.  ​​​​​​​​​
Our Tomato sauce is always made from scratch in-house and cooked low & slow for six hours.

Fired in our Neapolitan wood burning oven and served in a family friendly casual environment, Roots Wood Fire Pizza offers the best in Idaho Panhandle family-friendly casual dining.  We produce the tastiest wood fired pizzas and serve them along side small plates & salads in our CDA location on Northwest Blvd.​​​​​​​
Our Neapolitan wood fired oven is only fueled by sustainably sourced local fruit and hardwoods including maple, cherry, plum, pear, apple, and occasionally oak.  These hard woods bless each pizza with a smoky, fruity flavor that is appetizing and unmistakably unique.  We swear you’ll hear the angels sing with every bite.

Roots Wood Fire is an integral part of the local Coeur d’Alene & Greater Spokane community by sustainably sourcing local products from small, family farms & orchard producers within our local area.

Roots Wood Fire offers online ordering and pickup from our location at 1500 Northwest Boulevard in CDA.  If you are travelling from Spokane to visit us, please exit I90 at Exit 11 (Northwest Boulevard) and take the ramp towards City Center.  Roots Wood Fire is about 1 mile from I-90 on the left side of Northwest Blvd.
